I am a full member of BAPRAS (The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons), and of the BSSH (British Society for Surgery of the Hand). I have sat on the the research committees of each, and regularly contribute to national meetings, chairing sessions and presenting clinical and research papers.

Art

I took up drawing after an injury in 2016, and my work is now used worldwide for teaching surgeons and educating patients. I have been commissioned by national and international organisations, including Oxford University Press, the British Association of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, & the British Society for Surgery of the Hand. I have done artwork for books and other publications.  I am an affiliate member of the Medical Artists Association. This website is populated with my original illustrations (see images).

Family

I am married to another doctor, and a proud father to two very talented daughters.
